About The Position

Performs a variety of Quality Assurance duties including but not limited to inspecting material for quality issues safely and efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.

Requirements

• Knowledge of quality inspection standards normally acquired through six (6) months experience in a similar position required.
• Must have good attention to detail in order to visually identify minute imperfections or defects.
• Proficiency with computer use including word processing and spreadsheet programs.
• Must have good data entry skills and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a team or independently.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with small hand tools and quality inspection tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform and document required quality tests using appropriate tools and software.
• Monitor production for quality issues, promptly report concerns to leadership, and follow Quality Management System requirements including handling non-conforming parts and corrective actions.
• Read, understand, and execute work instructions while serving as a quality resource for team members on basic production and quality matters.
• Safely operate hand tools and quality testing equipment while properly wearing required personal protective equipment.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas to support efficient workflow and employee/customer safety; use materials efficiently and report low supplies.
• Establish effective workflow based on product and task priorities and perform additional duties as assigned by supervision.
