About The Position

As a warehouse team member at Lowe’s, you help ensure products are accurately received, organized, and shipped to stores, customers, and communities. You will work across warehouse departments such as Building, Shipping, and Receiving, performing assigned tasks efficiently and collaboratively while following safety regulations and procedures. Schedules may include evening, overnight, weekend, morning, or afternoon work, and may be changed by management to meet facility needs. Voluntary and scheduled overtime may be required, with additional pay for overtime.

Requirements

• Maintain the physical fitness to move continuously throughout the facility and lift up to 70 pounds.
• Operate power equipment as required and follow safety protocols, including wearing necessary personal protective equipment.
• Be able to work in varying conditions, including extreme temperatures and noisy environments.
• Demonstrate a strong safety orientation and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Be available to work a set schedule that management may change based on facility needs, including potential mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience in distribution center operations or warehouse settings.
• Proficiency operating power equipment, such as a forklift or reach truck.
• Attention to detail and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math, reading comprehension, and computer skills.
• Spatial reasoning for effective product positioning.

Responsibilities

• Receive, organize, and ship products accurately and efficiently.
• Follow safety procedures and conventions.
• Perform tasks in various departments as assigned by the Operations Supervisor.
• Conduct safety inspections of equipment and adhere to safety regulations.
• Work efficiently and collaboratively with other team members.
