About The Position

The QA Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating quality assurance activities within the solar panel manufacturing process, ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications. This position leads the quality team, promotes continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures finished products meet all established requirements before distribution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous supervisory experience required.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience handling CAPA processes, audits, and document control.
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Understanding of automated manufacturing processes and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications in Quality Assurance, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma are preferred.
  • Experience in solar panel manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, or related industries is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of the Quality Assurance department in solar panel manufacturing.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Coordinate inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Monitor and analyze quality metrics including defects, scrap, rework, and corrective actions.
  • Lead investigations related to non-conformances and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Develop and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
  • Conduct internal audits and support external and customer audits.
  • Train and develop QA inspectors and technicians on procedures, standards, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, GMP, ISO standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Prepare quality reports and present findings to management.
