The QA Supervisor supports the site Quality Management System and leads production quality control activities to ensure compliance with regulatory, internal, and customer requirements. The role supports audit readiness, quality and food safety reporting, site quality records, and the implementation and maintenance of quality procedures. The QA Supervisor serves as deputy to the Quality Manager and can independently perform critical audit support and reporting duties during the manager’s absence. The position coordinates testing, customer quality documentation, calibration, product and equipment qualification, rework management, and supplier quality follow-up. It ensures that personnel conducting quality testing are trained and qualified and that testing uses current, controlled documentation. Depending on delegation and site responsibilities, the role leads or manages quality staff, including meetings, training, attendance tracking, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations. The QA Supervisor also supports customer complaint management, including required reporting systems, root-cause analysis coordination, and documentation. Performance is assessed through the effectiveness of the site quality system and quality control program, audit outcomes, customer complaint handling, reporting accuracy and timeliness, and quality team effectiveness.
