Modern NiagaraVaughan, ON
Onsite

About The Position

The QA/C Technician – Welding & Fabrication supports quality assurance activities within the pipe spool fabrication and welding shop. This role focuses on monitoring the full welding and fabrication process—from material verification and fit-up through welding, testing, and final inspection—to ensure compliance with applicable codes, project specifications, and internal quality procedures. Success in this role requires strong technical knowledge of welding processes, metallurgy, and fabrication practices, along with the ability to proactively prevent defects and support consistent production quality. Quality in fabrication directly impacts safety, reliability, and project delivery. This role plays a critical part in ensuring fabricated piping systems meet regulatory, code, and client requirements before leaving the shop. By identifying issues early and supporting continuous improvement, the QA/QC Technician helps reduce rework, protect schedules, and uphold Modern Niagara’s reputation for high-quality industrial and mechanical solutions.
