Requirements

  • Proven experience in QA/QC engineering or design roles, with a strong understanding of quality assurance processes and design principles. Or have experience as an Engineering Technician II and/or a Trainer with TechServ.
  • Proficiency in design and engineering software (e.g. client specific software including- DDS, GDT, Agis)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Approximately 3-5 years of design experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement QA/QC procedures for engineering designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of engineering designs and documentation to identify potential quality issues, inconsistencies, or deviations from specifications.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve design processes and methodologies to enhance quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of QA/QC activities, including design reviews, test results, and compliance reports.
  • Work closely with engineering teams, project managers, and other departments to address quality issues and ensure that design specifications are met.
  • Provide guidance and support to engineering teams on QA/QC best practices, standards, and tools.
  • Ensure that all designs and engineering practices adhere to relevant regulatory and industry standards.
