About The Position

Requirements

5+ years in Electrical or Mechanical inspection, or 10+ years in manufacturing inspection.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inspection techniques, and quality control methodologies.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and inspection data.
Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement instruments.
Ability to identify defects and a commitment to high-quality construction standards.
Strong regard for quality assurance according to company standards.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, along with the ability to collaborate and function well within a team.
Ability to operate electronic inspection software and other computer-related tasks.

Nice To Haves

A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct inspections and evaluations to confirm that Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and related materials meet required codes, specifications, and quality standards.
Record inspection results, measurements, and observations.
Maintain detailed records of all quality control activities, including inspections and testing.
Document results, including non-compliance issues, with reports and photographs.
Review submittments, drawings, design documents, and operations/maintenance manuals for quality and conformance.
Conduct inspections of mechanical and/or electrical systems and materials to identify defects and ensure compliance.
Assist in training others in quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
