About The Position

Responsible for ensuring all incoming and outgoing materials meet applicable quality requirements through inspection, documentation review, traceability verification, and compliance with project specifications, company procedures, and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

Inspect incoming materials, equipment, and fabricated items to verify compliance with purchase orders, specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
Verify material identification, heat numbers, mill test reports (MTRs), certificates of compliance, and other quality documentation.
Perform visual inspections for damage, defects, corrosion, proper marking, and packaging conditions.
Ensure received materials match shipping documents, packing lists, and receiving reports.
Conduct dimensional inspections using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Document inspection results and maintain accurate receiving and quality records.
Generate nonconformance reports (NCRs) for defective, damaged, or non-compliant materials.
Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, suppliers, and project management to resolve material discrepancies.
Verify proper storage, preservation, handling, and traceability of materials.
Monitor inventory of quality-controlled materials and maintain material status identification.
Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure correct materials, quantities, certifications, and packaging requirements are met.
Verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and quality records.
Ensure compliance with company Quality Management System (QMS), client specifications, and applicable industry standards.
Participate in audits, quality meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all HSE policies and procedures.
