About The Position

The QA/QC Inspector will be responsible for performing and documenting inspections supporting a project team. This role involves implementing the QA/QC program on site, performing various quality inspections (e.g., Dimensional, Visual, welding), and coordinating quality inspections with subcontractors and vendors. The inspector will also coordinate all nondestructive testing, complete and coordinate the approval of site QC technical submittals with the customer, and liaise with the customer's representative on all quality matters. Additionally, the role requires assuring oversight of the proper use and implementation of processes and procedures, and performing receiving inspections of equipment and material.

Requirements

• 4-year degree in construction management, business, engineering or related field. Will accept equivalent level work experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

• Display diplomacy and tact in collaborating with a wide variety of colleagues, customers and suppliers

• Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and Project)

Nice To Haves

• Department of Energy, NRC, or Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program experience preferred
• AWS CWI preffered
• Experienced in ASME and AWS codes preferred

Responsibilities
