About The Position

Harder Mechanical is seeking a Quality Control Professional to monitor and maintain quality standards while complying with local and state regulations. This role involves working closely with field team members to set quality standards and suggest improvements. It is a long-term, direct-hire position, initially assigned to an existing project with potential for future opportunities. The successful candidate must pass a background check and drug screen for client site access.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate and work professionally with a broad spectrum of people including employees, craft, and clients
• Knowledge of quality control legal standards and procedures
• Organized and productive
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks on an ongoing basis
• 2+ years of experience with strong 3D piping knowledge
• Previous experience with high purity examination
• Previous experience with structural and piping scopes, as well as process piping detailing experience
• Demonstrated experience in high-tech tool install process piping systems
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen to work on the client site.

Nice To Haves

• A current or previous AWS CWI or LEV II certification

Responsibilities

• Work with the field team on-site to ensure all quality standards are met
• Oversee operations and procedures to make sure there are no deviations from the quality requirements and standards
• Track quality control statistics, and complete necessary documentation for the Project Management team, and the client
• Inspect field work, and work with the Quality Control team to perform necessary tests and quality control assessments on-site
• Understand the quality requirements of the client, Harder Mechanical Contractors, and specific local and state regulations.
