QA/QC Inspector (Civil/Structural-Concrete & Structural Steel)
About The Position
FST Technical Services is seeking experienced QA/QC Civil or Structural Inspectors for a long-term project supporting the construction of a large-scale mission-critical industrial facility in Childress, Texas. This role offers the opportunity to work on a landmark construction project with company-provided housing, meals, and exceptional onsite amenities. The ideal candidate will have experience inspecting concrete, reinforcing steel, structural steel, and various types of construction projects including commercial buildings, industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, power projects, and heavy civil construction.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Civil and/or Structural construction inspection experience
- Experience inspecting concrete, structural steel, or both
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in an active construction environment
- Willingness to travel and work onsite in Childress, Texas

Responsibilities
- Performing quality inspections of concrete and structural steel construction
- Inspecting reinforcing steel, formwork, anchor bolts, embeds, and structural steel installation
- Verifying work complies with project drawings, specifications, and quality requirements
- Preparing daily inspection reports and documenting inspection results
- Identifying non-conforming work and verifying corrective actions
- Collaborating with contractors, engineers, and project leadership to maintain exceptional quality standards
