About The Position

FST Technical Services is seeking experienced QA/QC Civil or Structural Inspectors for a long-term project supporting the construction of a large-scale mission-critical industrial facility in Childress, Texas. This role offers company-provided housing, meals, and onsite amenities, providing an excellent opportunity to work on a significant construction project. The position focuses on ensuring civil and structural construction activities meet project specifications, applicable codes, and the highest quality standards.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Civil and/or Structural construction inspection experience
Experience inspecting concrete, structural steel, or both
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in an active construction environment
Willingness to travel and work onsite in Childress, Texas

Responsibilities

Performing quality inspections of concrete and structural steel construction
Inspecting reinforcing steel, formwork, anchor bolts, embeds, and structural steel installation
Verifying work complies with project drawings, specifications, and quality requirements
Preparing daily inspection reports and documenting inspection results
Identifying non-conforming work and verifying corrective actions
Collaborating with contractors, engineers, and project leadership to maintain exceptional quality standards
