Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing required
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Proficiency with tablets and mobile devices for data entry preferred
  • Attention to detail with the ability to accurately document inspection findings and test results
  • Clear verbal communication skills with the ability to report field findings to the Splicing Manager
  • Ability to work independently in the field and manage assigned inspection areas efficiently

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in fiber optic construction, testing, or telecommunications preferred
  • Experience in fiber optic construction, quality control, or a related field preferred; motivated candidates willing to learn will be considered

Responsibilities

  • Capture and document test results from fiber optic splicing operations using Wire 3’s company platform and company-provided testing gear
  • Perform physical plant quality inspections in the field, recording pass/fail results against the Wire 3 quality checklist via tablet on the company platform; capture photos documenting the condition found at each location
  • Communicate project risks and quality hazards to the Splicing Manager as they arise
  • Work directly with the Splicing Manager on areas of completion and inspection results
  • Assist in implementing project and program plans as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned
