About The Position

The QA Operator is responsible for achieving safety and quality goals through the safe and efficient operation of equipment such as molders, folders, slitters, liners, and printers. This role ensures product is produced according to Quality Control Plans and Quality Standards, involving performance of Quality inspections and procedures. The operator will also handle order changes, complete line clearance functions, and perform non-conformance isolations. Communication with the technical group regarding machine or quality issues is essential, as is accurate documentation of activities in various records and maintaining GMP compliance. The operator must ensure equipment operates within established parameters and is responsible for labeling scrap containers. This is a trainee position with 12-hour rotating shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM).

Requirements

  • Completed High School or GED.
  • Knowledge of desktop computers and various software.
  • Ability to communicate exceptionally well, verbally and written.
  • Must be a detailed oriented person.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task.
  • Must possess exceptional organizational skills.
  • May not be on any discipline level.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation, organization and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Operator/QA experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Downtime Database, CIM System & Infinity (extra training will be provided).

Responsibilities

  • Achieve safety and quality goals.
  • Safely and efficiently operate equipment (molders, folders, slitters, liners, printers).
  • Ensure product is produced according to Quality Control Plans and Quality Standards.
  • Perform Quality inspections and procedures.
  • Perform order changes and complete line clearance functions.
  • Perform non-conformance isolations for current work order at the pack-out area.
  • Communicate machine or quality issues to the technical group.
  • Accurately and completely document activities in Quality records, Production Stats, GMP records, and SPC charting.
  • Maintain GMP compliance in work areas.
  • Ensure equipment is operated within established operating parameters.
  • Label scrap containers.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
