About The Position

The QA Manager leads the Quality Assurance function for Jesta I.S.’s Vision Suite, ensuring the delivery of high-quality ERP, SCM, and Retail Management software to major global retail clients. This role oversees QA strategy, test planning, automation, execution, and release validation across multiple product lines, including Vision Sourcing & Demand, Vision Merchandising, Vision Store, and Vision Fulfillment. The QA Manager drives process improvement, optimizes testing efficiency, and ensures our software is reliable, scalable, and aligned with client business workflows. Operating within a midsized, fastmoving environment, this role offers significant impact, leadership visibility, and growth in shaping product excellence. The QA Manager will also drive the adoption of AI-driven quality assurance practices, leveraging machine learning, intelligent test automation, and predictive analytics to enhance defect detection, optimize testing processes, and provide proactive insights into software quality risks.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in QA for enterprise/SaaS products and 3+ years in QA team leadership/management.
  • Strong functional knowledge of ERP/retail/supply-chain or multi-module enterprise apps.
  • Hands-on with automated testing frameworks and test management tools; experience in Agile teams.
  • Proven leadership, resource planning and team mentoring.
  • Expert in test strategy, automation and translating specs into test plans.
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving in complex enterprise systems.
  • Clear communicator, organized, detail-oriented and able to balance quality with delivery timelines.
  • Technical proficiency in SQL, APIs and test automation scripting.

Nice To Haves

  • retail ERP domain experience, API testing, CI/CD integration, cloud/microservices, ML-enabled testing, and performance testing.
  • ISTQB (Foundation/Advanced), CSM or Agile testing certs, and management/leadership training.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the QA team, including test analysts, automation engineers, and manual testers across multiple Vision Suite modules.
  • Develop and own the QA strategy, test methodologies, and standards for regression testing, functional testing, API testing, user acceptance testing, and performance testing.
  • Oversee full QA lifecycle: scoping, planning, test case creation, test execution, defect reporting, and release validation.
  • Drive test automation strategy using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar, ensuring increased automation coverage and faster release cycles.
  • Leverage AI-powered approach for testing automations and quality processes optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Development, DevOps, Support, and Implementation teams to ensure alignment on requirements, release scope, and quality expectations.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives such as CI/CD integration, automated regression suites, test data optimization, and improved defect management workflows.
  • Ensure all QA documentation (test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and release readiness reports) is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
  • Lead QA participation in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, grooming, daily standups, retrospectives, and release demos.
  • Analyze defect trends, root causes, and systemic issues; ensure preventive measures are implemented.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop QA team members—including performance reviews, skills development plans, and hiring when required.
  • Manage QA metrics and KPIs, including defect density, testing velocity, automation coverage, and escape rates.
  • Ensure quality expectations for global retail clients (e.g., Cole Haan, DSW, Perry Ellis, Puma) are met through rigorous validation.
  • Drive compliance with internal coding/testing standards and contribute to SOC audit documentation related to QA processes.
  • Ensure all testing environments (data, configurations, integrations) are properly maintained and aligned with production landscapes.
