About The Position

As a QA Lab Technician, you will perform laboratory tests. These tests determine chemical and physical characteristics or composition of in-process batches, raw materials, and finished products. The purposes of these tests include quality control, process control, or product development.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
1+ years' of experience in a laboratory setting.
Able to lift up to 20lbs.
Ability to clearly identify and communicate issues that we need to address and to take the necessary steps to avoid future errors that we will make.

Nice To Haves

Minimum High School Chemistry knowledge preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Ensure that accurate safety procedures and housekeeping are maintained and conduct work in a manner that protects yourself, co-workers, and the environment.
Set up, adjusts, calibrates, and operates laboratory equipment and instruments such, viscometers, chemical balances spectrophotometer, and other equipment.
Test samples of manufactured products to verify conformity to specifications.
Record test results on batch tickets and in our computer operating system.
Manage quality records and retains of production batches.
Evaluate retains of production batches in response to quality complaints.
Conduct in-coming raw materials testing, ensuring conformance to required specifications.
Perform routine production quality checks to ensure finished products are packaged according to specifications.
