About The Position
NSC Technologies is seeking a QA-NDT Inspector responsible for conducting and documenting inspections according to customer and contractual requirements. The ideal candidate will perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and maintain comprehensive records of inspection activities.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in NDT and Quality Control/Assurance.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication, and writing skills.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to access Government Facilities.
Nice To Haves
- Certifications in VT, MT, PT, and/or UT preferred.
- Related Department of Defense experience and familiarity with government customer relations preferred.
- Experience with NAVSEA Standard Items and ISO requirements is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and monitor inspections, documenting results on required forms.
- Perform VT, MT, PT, and UT inspections as needed.
- Understand and apply NAVSEA Standard Items and other Government Specifications.
- Analyze documents, drawings, and customer requirements to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Generate and review condition found reports, test and inspection plans, and corrective action reports (CAR).
- Inventory and maintain test equipment and gauges.
- Prepare training materials and conduct training sessions as needed.
- Perform audits and surveillance as assigned.
- Work independently to fulfill responsibilities and maintain reliable attendance.
- Abide by all safety requirements and protocols.
