About The Position

The QA Inspector is responsible for monitoring manufacturing operations to ensure adherence to company-wide procedures. This includes conducting line start-up, line clearance, and hourly inspections through visual and measurement tests. The role requires maintaining inspection and testing records using an electronic system and initiating non-conformances and deviations to ensure only acceptable products are delivered to customers. The inspector is expected to be an active team member, contributing to the elimination of production obstacles to enhance productivity and will gain cross-functional exposure to other areas of Operations.

Requirements

  • Stand and walk for 2 hours at a time as they roam their assigned area and inspect products.
  • Simple addition and subtraction calculations
  • Must be able to follow written instructions and specifications under GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines.
  • Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reading and writing English fluently
  • Reading and understanding company policy, safety guidelines, and manufacturing rules
  • Good documentation practice is a must
  • Must be able to work multiple shifts, including weekends
  • High school education or a GED equivalency required
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Good math and technical skills.
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer prior experience in an FDA regulated industries
  • Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred
  • Certification in quality control is preferred
