About The Position

The QA Inspector is responsible for ensuring product conformance to work orders and specifications. This role involves conducting various types of inspections and measurements using a range of tools and equipment, documenting deviations, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to accurately record and report findings.

Requirements

  • Ability to inspect product to ensure conformance with work orders and specifications.
  • Proficiency in conducting dimensional checks.
  • Skill in setting up gauges to determine diameter and length.
  • Ability to change master pin in gauge according to parts dimensions.
  • Experience with roundness testing using electronic gauges.
  • Ability to measure end squareness using manual gauges.
  • Experience obtaining hardness measures using Rockwell hardness tester.
  • Skill in measuring surface finish of rollers using parameter electronic gauges.
  • Ability to complete non-conformance material forms.
  • Experience using electronic gauges, trend setter gauges, hand gauging equipment, and comparators.
  • Proficiency in using Rondcom 41C for roundness inspection.
  • Ability to place inspected parts in appropriate containers and prepare for shipping.
  • Skill in using a stapler to assemble boxes.
  • Experience using scales to weigh product.
  • Ability to maintain inventory of supplies.
  • Experience operating a forklift, pallet jack, and/or barrel carts.
  • Proficiency in maintaining job-related paperwork.
  • Ability to keep work area clean and organized.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect product to ensure conformance with work orders and specifications.
  • Conduct dimensional checks on sample audits from inspection.
  • Set up gauges to determine diameter and length.
  • Change master pin in gauge in accordance with parts dimensions.
  • Conduct roundness testing utilizing electronic gauge.
  • Measure end squareness using manual gauge.
  • Obtain hardness measures using Rockwell hardness tester.
  • Measure surface finish of roller using parameter electronic gauge.
  • Complete non-conformance material forms indicating dimension deviations.
  • Use electronic gauge, trend setter gauge, hand gauging equipment, and comparators for dimensional measurement.
  • Use Rondcom 41C for roundness inspection.
  • Place inspected parts in barrel or jugs, and place jugs in boxes.
  • Use stapler to make boxes.
  • Use scales to weigh product.
  • Maintain supplies such as jugs, skids, lids, etc.
  • Operate forklift, pallet jack, and/or barrel carts.
  • Maintain all paperwork involved with job requirements.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
