About The Position

SAIC is seeking a QA Engineering Technician to support their team in Indianapolis, IN. This role supports programs and processes which establish and maintain quality standards of products and services. The technician will implement and/or follow procedures, policies, and technical solutions to support business operations. They will be responsible for collecting, maintaining, organizing, compiling, and reporting data. The role involves monitoring and verifying quality in accordance with established processes or other control procedures, and supporting areas such as engineering, production/repair depot, and business process improvement. Key responsibilities include inspections, quality control, and final buy-off on mechanical parts/subassemblies and circuit boards, using various instruments to take measurements of machined parts to verify specifications, inspecting subassemblies, and verifying quality control of parts from vendors.

Requirements

  • Experience using various instruments to include calipers, gauge pins, micrometers, etc.
  • Experience taking measurements of machined parts to verify specifications.
  • Experience inspecting subassemblies.
  • Experience verifying quality control of parts from vendors.

Responsibilities
