Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical or science degree.
  • 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with 3+ years in management or leadership roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in the semiconductor domain, including fab/manufacturing software systems and equipment integration
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, software development lifecycle, test automation frameworks, and CI/CD tools.
  • Familiarity with Semi SECS/GEM standards, database validation, and programming languages, such as C# or Python.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced, high-complexity environments.
  • Experience working with global teams across different time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement an effective software quality assurance strategy aligned with business and product goals in collaboration with program management and domain experts
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing SQA team
  • Establish KPIs for quality, such as defect density, escape rate, and test coverage.
  • Oversee the development and execution of functional, integration, system, and regression tests, as well as equipment interface testing.
  • Lead the adoption of test automation frameworks (UI, API, and system-level).
  • Establish CI/CD quality gates with automated testing pipelines.
