About The Position

abra R&D is looking for a QA Engineer to join their team. This role involves a variety of testing activities to ensure product quality, including manual and automated testing, bug validation, and collaboration with development and support teams.

Requirements

• 2 years of QA experience.
• Experience with manual testing and defect tracking.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Basic SQL and database knowledge.
• Experience working with Windows and Linux environments.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with test automation tools.
• Familiarity with Jenkins or CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with hardware, sensor, or embedded systems testing.
• Knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with security or vulnerability validation tools such as Qualys.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate bug fixes and support release validation and rollout testing.
• Investigate customer-reported issues and reproduce defects for troubleshooting and resolution.
• Perform hardware and sensor validation activities.
• Create, maintain, and update test cases and test documentation.
• Support test automation initiatives and maintain existing automated test suites.
• Assist with Jenkins job validation and vulnerability testing activities.
• Collaborate closely with Development, DevOps, and Support teams to ensure product quality.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
