Requirements

  • JavaScript test frameworks - e.g. TestCafe, Cypress and Playwright
  • Unix/Linux-like systems
  • Version control with git - experience with PR flows and branching flows.
  • A working knowledge of containers, such as Docker
  • Knowledge on AWS S3 and Lambda
  • API testing and exploratory testing
  • Basic knowledge of databases
  • User acceptance testing with clients
  • Communicating clearly and effectively, both written and verbally, when raising defects, providing feedback or suggesting improvements
  • Regularly participating in team meetings and other public forums
  • Embracing a continuous improvement mindset
  • Good attention to details and analytical thinking

Responsibilities

  • Developing test cases/scenarios based on requirements
  • Performing various types of testing such as functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and performance testing
  • Collaborating with Technical Program Manager on defining success criteria
  • Providing feedback on design, usability, and user experience from a quality assurance perspective
  • Understanding continuous integration and delivery pipelines – Gitlab etc.
  • Contributing to test automation to streamline testing processes
  • Documenting test cases, procedures, and results for future reference
