QA Engineer

Requirements
- JavaScript test frameworks - e.g. TestCafe, Cypress and Playwright
- Unix/Linux-like systems
- Version control with git - experience with PR flows and branching flows.
- A working knowledge of containers, such as Docker
- Knowledge on AWS S3 and Lambda
- API testing and exploratory testing
- Basic knowledge of databases
- User acceptance testing with clients
- Communicating clearly and effectively, both written and verbally, when raising defects, providing feedback or suggesting improvements
- Regularly participating in team meetings and other public forums
- Embracing a continuous improvement mindset
- Good attention to details and analytical thinking
Responsibilities
- Developing test cases/scenarios based on requirements
- Performing various types of testing such as functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and performance testing
- Collaborating with Technical Program Manager on defining success criteria
- Providing feedback on design, usability, and user experience from a quality assurance perspective
- Understanding continuous integration and delivery pipelines – Gitlab etc.
- Contributing to test automation to streamline testing processes
- Documenting test cases, procedures, and results for future reference
