About The Position

Ventrata is an industry-leading SaaS platform that helps attractions, tours, and activities to create memorable experiences. We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong automation skills to join our talented product team. You will be stepping into a mature, actively developed project where testing is a critical part of the development lifecycle. Your primary focus will be maintaining, expanding, and optimizing our Cypress-based test suite, which already includes 4,000+ tests across 90+ scenarios. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure features meet business requirements, are thoroughly tested, and deliver a smooth, intuitive user experience. You will be working alongside two other QAs who will help you get familiar with the project and guide you through everything you need to know. The platform is composed of two core components: Checkout Widget – Enables users to book tickets online for global attractions, and Ticket Management Module – A back-office tool for managing tickets and bookings (currently under active development). We value testers who are not afraid to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and help us catch issues before they reach production. You’ll be working with a team of experienced developers who understand the value of testing and are always ready to help.

  • Experience with Cypress.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (we use Svelte).

  • Review and adjust tests based on new features, bug reports, and production issues.
  • Perform manual testing as needed (especially for newly added features and bugfix verification).
  • Based on manual testing, adjust or create automated tests.
  • Think critically about features – spot inconsistencies, raise concerns, and propose improvements.
  • Collaborate with developers to debug issues and ensure test reliability.
  • Champion quality and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Work directly with the codebase or adjust CI workflows to ensure smooth test execution and reporting.
  • Check if the implementation makes sense, spotting missing requirements, and asking the right questions.

Benefits

  • Unlimited paid holiday days.
  • Start-up working environment.
  • WFH or work remotely.
  • Team buildings and company remote office.
  • Spontaneous beer after work or any sports activity.
