About The Position

The Quality Assurance Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining product quality, food safety, and operational compliance throughout the warehouse. This position supports the Quality Management System through inspections, audits, customer complaint investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives to help ensure customers receive safe, high-quality products.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-3 years of quality assurance, quality control, food safety, warehouse, manufacturing, or related experience preferred.
  • Experience in food distribution, warehouse operations, or logistics is a plus.
  • Experience operating powered industrial equipment is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to analyze data and create meaningful reports.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in refrigerated, freezer, and ambient warehouse environments.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull products as needed.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and warehouse conditions.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in food distribution, warehouse operations, or logistics is a plus.
  • Experience operating powered industrial equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct product quality inspections and monitor warehouse quality standards.
  • Support the execution of Feeser's Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Perform internal audits and assist with loss control initiatives.
  • Investigate customer complaints and coordinate follow-up actions.
  • Assist with corrective and preventive action plans related to product quality.
  • Track quality metrics and provide reports, recommendations, and trends to management.
  • Partner with warehouse leadership to identify quality improvement opportunities.
  • Provide feedback regarding employee quality performance and training needs.
  • Support food safety, product integrity, and compliance programs.
  • Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
