About The Position

Our site in Billerica, MA is seeking a QA Chemist (Scientist I) to join our team. Monday-Friday, 2pm-10:30pm. The QA Chemist is responsible for conducting QA testing and will provide analytical support for manufacturing production of our Micro-contamination control and membrane products, as well as limited R&D development support. The QA chemist will prepare, load, and test samples using ICP-MS, Ion Chromatography, TOC, NVR, and Karl Fischer. Work in a clean room environment to conduct routine QA product testing of filtration and membrane products from manufacturing. Complete routine testing independently following established priorities. Follow and document standard operating procedures for conducting required tests. Prepare samples for analysis and load instrumentation. Analyze and interpret test data, maintain documentation of test operation, and ensure data quality and integrity. Perform preventative maintenance and trouble-shoot equipment. Work on individual projects as assigned by a supervisor. Remove and dispose of waste chemicals in accordance with company established safety procedures and work to maintain a safe work environment. Handle requests appropriately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related discipline
  • Strong internship/co-op (or work) experience in a related field.
  • Strong scientific approach and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate and successfully work in a team environment.
  • Able to work independently and follow established priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience running analytical instrumentation is a plus.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills will elevate a candidate.
  • Previous cleanroom experience is preferred but not required.
