(Contractor) QA Automation (Selenium/Java)
About The Position
The QA Automation role develops and maintains automated testing for applications using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber, extending existing automation frameworks as needed. The position converts manual test cases into reliable, reusable automated scripts and designs, executes, and maintains tests for GUI and API functionality. It also uses SQL to retrieve, validate, and troubleshoot database data in support of testing, expands test coverage, and creates reusable test data for regional processes and claims workflows. The role collaborates with QA automation team members and application engineers to understand application functionality, troubleshoot failures, and align scripts with requirements. Playwright and JavaScript may be used when applicable. The position contributes to automation coverage goals through high-quality scripts, ongoing maintenance, and improvements to test reliability. The successful candidate takes a consultative, client-focused approach; supports project oversight and delivery; adapts to a high-growth organization; and contributes through teamwork, communication, leadership, coaching, and continuous learning. Requirements

Responsibilities
