QA Automation Lead
About The Position
We are seeking a highly experienced QA Automation Lead with over 10 years of software testing experience. The role focuses on Guidewire Claim Center and Policy Center, QA strategy, test planning, execution oversight, defect management, and release governance. The lead will develop automation solutions using Playwright, WebDriverIO, and other tools; automate Guidewire workflows using the GT-UI Framework; and contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab. The role also includes creating and executing test plans and test cases, participating in defect management and resolution, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software testing experience
- Experience with Guidewire Claim Center and Policy Center
- Hands-on experience with Playwright and WebDriverIO
- Strong expertise in QA strategy, test planning, and execution oversight
- Experience in defect management and release governance
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with USAA
- Experience with Cucumber BDD, Selenium, API automation with Postman and Karate, and performance testing with JMeter
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab
