About The Position

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing processes. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Requirements

  • Functional/ Manual Testing
  • Automation Testing
  • API testing hands on experience with Katalon tool
  • Utilizing Postman to create test scripts for RESTful APIs, Web Services and Microservices.
  • Performing manual and automated tests to ensure the smooth integration of software components and systems.
  • Identifying and reporting defects to development teams for resolution.
  • Documenting test results and preparing test reports for stakeholders.
  • Database testing experience
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on functional, automation, and API testing.
  • Proficiency in using test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for functional testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous testing.
  • Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with the development team to resolve them.
  • Create and execute API test plans and test cases to validate API functionality, performance, and security.
  • Utilize tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar to perform API testing.
  • Ensure thorough coverage of API endpoints and maintain API test documentation.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective.
  • Ensure compliance with QA standards and best practices.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and operations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and issues.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA engineers as needed.
