About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Python Full Stack Developer for a 12+ month contract role in Plano, TX. This onsite position requires proficiency in Python development, UI technologies like React JS/Angular JS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and experience with RESTful APIs. The role also involves working with SQL/NOSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL), version control systems (Git/GitHub), project management tools (Jira), and cloud platforms (Azure). The developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting scalable and reusable software systems, ensuring security, scalability, and maintainability, and participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle within an Agile/SAFe environment.

Requirements

Proficiency in Python for developing scripts, automation, and integration tasks.
Strong experience in React JS / Angular JS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
Strong experience in developing, consuming, and integrating RESTful APIs.
SQL/NOSQL hands-on experience, such as Mongo DB, PostgreSQL.
Proficiency with Git and GitHub for code versioning and collaboration.
Familiarity with Jira for tracking issues, tasks, and project workflows.
Knowledge of cloud services (Azure).
Full Stack development experience.
Experience with API development and integration.
Demonstrated ability to work with version control systems like Git and platforms such as GitHub.
Experience in working with logs, debugging, and troubleshooting.
Experience in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Experience in Software design skills.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and trouble-shoot scalable and reusable software systems, including 3-tier and Microsoft Azure cloud-based systems.
Ensure the security, scalability, and maintainability of Software Product.
Perform assessments and evaluations of existing implementations, offering recommendations for improvements.
Create design specifications and effort estimates.
Actively support configuration management of code and software.
Support detailed documentation of systems and features.
Actively participate in coding exercises and peer code reviews as part of the development life cycles and change management.
Actively participate in daily stand-up meetings.
Develop and implement microservices.
Conduct both manual and automated testing to ensure software quality.
Participate in Agile/SAFe methodologies and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Convert business requirements into technical solutions.
