About The Position

The City of Bothell is seeking a Storm Public Works Maintenance Worker, Senior to join the Utilities Division. This position plays a vital role in maintaining safe and reliable storm infrastructure throughout the community. This position performs hands-on maintenance and repairs, operates specialized equipment, and responds to stormwater emergencies and community concerns.

Responsibilities

Inspect, clean, and maintain stormwater systems to ensure proper drainage and prevent flooding.
Operate and maintain heavy equipment and specialized vehicles used for stormwater maintenance and repairs.
Locate and mark underground utilities and perform repairs to stormwater lines, manholes, and drainage structures.
Follow safety, environmental, and erosion control requirements; establish traffic control and secure work zones.
Complete work orders and daily records; respond to flooding, spills, weather emergencies, and drainage complaints.
