About The Position

Key Staffing is currently recruiting for a PVC Lead to join a growing industrial manufacturing team. This position is responsible for leading daily production activities involving PVC pipe fabrication, threading, assembly, quality control, and team coordination while ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently. The ideal candidate has previous experience working with PVC products, possesses strong leadership skills, is mechanically inclined, and can maintain production schedules while ensuring quality standards are consistently met.

Requirements

  • Previous experience leading production teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Hands-on experience working with PVC pipe fabrication, machining, threading, assembly, or manufacturing processes.
  • Strong understanding of measurements, tolerances, and quality control procedures.
  • Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and production drawings.
  • Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to train, coach, and motivate employees.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as production demands require.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Must successfully pass all pre-employment screenings, including a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise daily PVC production activities and provide direction to production team members.
  • Set up, operate, and oversee equipment used to cut, thread, machine, fabricate, and assemble PVC pipe and related products.
  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, drawings, and production specifications.
  • Verify measurements, tolerances, thread specifications, and product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Ensure products meet customer specifications and company quality standards.
  • Train and mentor employees on proper equipment operation, production procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Monitor daily production schedules and prioritize workflow to meet customer deadlines.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance needs when necessary.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain production documentation, inventory records, and quality reports.
  • Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies throughout the department.
  • Assist with additional production and operational duties as assigned.
