About The Position

This position is based out of the Funston Solar site in the Anson, TX area and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of solar PV collection assemblies, battery energy storage, AC/DC inverters on multiple solar power plants to achieve safe, efficient, and environmentally sound plant operations. The employee will maintain all tools, shops, vehicles, and work locations in a safe and efficient condition, provide inspections of watch, electrical, mechanical, and electronic troubleshooting for solar arrays and inverters. Inspections are performed daily for fluid system breaches, mechanical component breakage or misalignment, and electrical component failures preventing inverters from producing grid power. The candidate will be responsible for supporting teammates in nearby states in the region, and maintaining reliability, operations, and maintenance for sites assigned area. The Site Technician will support the Regional Manager or designee to ensure the perfect execution of the PGD processes. Site Technicians in a solar region perform duties in safety, contractor management, electrical/electronic/mechanical equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance, overall site operations, asset management and regulatory compliance, reliability engineering, and inventory management.

Requirements

• High School Grad / GED
• 2+ years of experience
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
