About The Position

Fixatex Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician with experience in Solar PV installation and servicing. The role involves electrical reactive maintenance, testing & inspection, electrical installation, and the installation, maintenance & servicing of small-scale solar PV systems. The work will primarily be in domestic properties within the social housing and local authority sectors, requiring a high standard of work in line with industry regulations and company expectations.

Requirements

NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification
C&G 2922-34 Level 3 - Installation & Maintenance of Small-Scale PV Systems or equivalent
Full UK driving licence (held for at least 12 months)
18th Edition C&G 2382 or equivalent.
C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the electrical industry
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the solar PV industry

Responsibilities

Carry out electrical installation, maintenance and testing works as required.
Install, service, maintain & repair solar PV systems.
Demonstrate competence with a wide range of solar PV systems and equipment, including monitoring devices.
Have a good understanding of electrical systems and be able to identify/ report faults.
Interpret electrical / site drawings when necessary.
Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 and BS 2922-34 regulations.
Complete all job reports and certification accurately.
Work safely and in accordance with current Health & Safety legislation and fire safety standards.
Attend and complete all company-provided training.
Participate in performance reviews, improvement programmes, and appraisals.
Liaise effectively with office staff and supervisors to resolve queries.
Adhere to company KPIs and operational standards.
Carry out any other reasonable duties as directed by management.
