About The Position

The Purchasing Specialist helps ensure the timely procurement of materials, components, equipment, and services needed to support manufacturing operations. The role works closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Production Scheduling, Sourcing, and suppliers to maintain cost-effective, high-quality supply chain performance.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of purchasing, procurement, or related experience.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.

Responsibilities

• Monitor delivery schedules with key suppliers and track critical deliveries.
• Create and manage purchase orders and procurement records in SAP.
• Monitor supplier performance and expedite deliveries as needed.
• Resolve supplier quality and delivery issues in partnership with internal teams.
• Approve invoice pricing and quantities.
• Maintain accurate purchasing data and set stocking levels.
