About The Position

This role maintains the efficient flow of purchasing activities and acts as a liaison between the department and vendor representatives, communicating and resolving discrepancies that may occur. The position is M-F with typical business hours and is fully remote after initial training. Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent, required.

Responsibilities

  • Resolves customer concerns or directs to appropriate department personnel
  • Verifies availability of product or service and establishes delivery dates.
  • Monitors inventory levels and initiates routine, rush, service, and procurement card orders.
  • Confirms orders, details, and updates database discrepancies.
  • Maintains and updates the MMIS system with vendor information and purchase order information.
  • Processes returns and communicates with vendor, dock and customer.
  • Proofreading and checking documents for accuracy and inputting and/or retrieving words or data into or from an automated computer system.
