JOB SUMMARY: Purchase supplies and equipment for the facility efficiently and cost-effectively, supporting and enhancing facility operations. Responsible for ensuring the stocking of incoming merchandise and delivery of merchandise to requesting department.

Requirements

Valid South Carolina drivers license

Nice To Haves

Prefer two to four years healthcare or related materials management experience.

Responsibilities

Organizes central supply inventory and maintains par levels, including ensuring an adequate amount of supply is on hand in the event of emergency or disruption of supply chain and placing related orders.
Identifies and implements cost-containment strategies related to central supply and other department ordering, including utilization of UHS preferred vendors under the GPO contract.
Places approved purchase requisition orders.
