Develop advantageous sources of supply: purchasing materials, equipment, supplies and services, supervising Purchasing office operations and office and equipment repair. To oversee the internet-based ordering of office supplies and to see that they are ordered in the most timely and cost-effective way. Place orders. Follow through on orders to guarantee receipt of order. Maintenance of reports to guarantee timely payment to vendors. Facilitate timely payment of payments to hotels/event centers for events. Work with vendors to obtain bids for purchases. Arrange for large orders to be picked up at events.
