About The Position

Millwood Hospital, a UHS affiliated hospital, is a 134-bed mental health facility providing inpatient and outpatient mental health and chemical dependency treatment. Since 1971, Millwood has offered comprehensive care to children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults. Located in Arlington, TX, the hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission and is part of Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), a large provider of healthcare services. This part-time position (20 hours/week) involves purchasing, receiving, stocking, organizing, inventorying, and distributing medical supplies, equipment, forms, and other materials. The role ensures departments have necessary supplies while maintaining accurate inventory and appropriate storage. The position requires attendance at full hospital and departmental orientations during the first two weeks.

Requirements

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of materials management, warehouse, inventory or supply chain experience in a hospital setting.

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing medical supplies, equipment, forms, and other materials.
• Receiving, stocking, organizing, and inventorying supplies.
• Distributing materials throughout the hospital.
• Ensuring departments have the necessary supplies and forms.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Ensuring appropriate storage conditions for materials.
