VOGO Cabinets is seeking a highly organized and proactive Purchasing & Receiving Manager to oversee all purchasing, receiving, inventory coordination, and operational support functions within our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring materials, supplies, and equipment are procured accurately, delivered on time, and managed efficiently to support production schedules and company operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in purchasing, receiving, inventory management, operations, or administrative coordination preferred
  • Manufacturing, cabinetry, millwork, construction, warehouse, or supply-chain experience is a plus, but not required
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, inventory software, or purchase order systems preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly

Responsibilities

  • Manage all daily purchasing activities for materials, hardware, supplies, and equipment
  • Submit purchase orders and maintain clear visibility of vendor lead times and delivery schedules
  • Develop purchasing and receiving strategies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and cost management
  • Establish and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships
  • Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules
  • Maintain supplier databases, purchasing records, and related documentation
  • Ensure procured items meet required quality standards and project specifications
  • Coordinate with the shop and production teams to determine inventory and purchasing needs
  • Track, trace, and update the status of incoming shipments
  • Verify deliveries for accuracy, completeness, and quality
  • Coordinate material organization and inventory control within the warehouse
  • Work to improve purchasing and receiving systems and processes
  • Establish and maintain a strong understanding of the company’s ERP system
  • Input vendor invoices into the ERP system accurately and in a timely manner
  • Work closely with the accounting department to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate documentation
  • Communicate payment timelines and resolve discrepancies with vendors
  • Assist with hazardous waste disposal procedures, manifests, and inspections
  • Coordinate vehicle management and maintenance scheduling
  • Schedule machinery repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Assist with OSHA compliance initiatives and safety coordination
  • Support payroll and reception functions as needed
  • Manage project sample processes
  • Oversee office supply purchasing
  • Perform other duties as assigned
