About The Position

The Purchasing Manager protects East Bay Tire’s promise to customers by keeping the right tire inventory flowing—on time, at the right cost, and with margin discipline. This role exists to turn purchasing strategy into dependable service across passenger/light truck, commercial truck, agricultural, industrial, OTR, trailer, specialty, and related categories.

Requirements

• 5+ years in purchasing/procurement, inventory management, or supply chain; industry experience preferred
• Strong Excel, inventory systems, organization, communication, and negotiation skills

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field

Responsibilities

• Set and execute purchasing strategy, replenishment, and demand forecasting
• Lead vendor relationships; negotiate pricing, terms, programs, and performance expectations
• Partner with sales, operations, warehouse, and leadership to balance availability, turns, and profitability
• Oversee purchasing activities and improve processes, controls, and reporting
• Provide financial and inventory analysis to guide decisions and reduce risk
