About The Position

This is a short-term position (~3 months) located in Greenville, SC. We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Data Coordinator to work with our client's team at a leading automotive supplier in Greenville, SC. This position will require on-site support in Greenville, SC 3 days / week and the remaining day(s) will be remote, as agreed with the Purchasing Manager. This position is expected to work a minimum of 40 hours / week and may require working outside normal working hours and/or weekends. The daily work is mostly performed in a normal office or home setting with minimal exposure to most health or safety hazards, and with substantial time spent working on a computer. Requires sufficient hand, arm and finger dexterity to operate a computer and other office equipment. Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with data – able to analyze and interpret large amounts of data to support decision making.
  • Ability to work with ambiguous and imperfect data / information, operate in “gray” area (when issues are not black or white).
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including suppliers and plant personnel.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts.
  • Time Management (including effectively managing email and calendar).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
  • Self-motivated and able to work without close supervision.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • HSD/GED
  • Previous Relatable Experience Required

Responsibilities

  • Work with internal teams, plant personnel, and suppliers to identify the correct manufacturer for purchased items.
  • Retrieve and verify manufacturer item numbers for all assigned items.
  • Collaborate closely with buyers and specialists to ensure accurate data entry and record maintenance.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel extensively for data organization, analysis, and reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
  • Support / attend and participate in meetings scheduled by the Purchasing Manager, and Weekly / Monthly Operating Reviews unless circumstances prevent attendance.
  • Support 1-on-1 meetings with the Purchasing Manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned / requested by Purchasing Manager.
