Requirements
- Must possess a High School diploma, GED or equivalent
- One year of prior relevant experience
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other office programs
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience as a retail assistant buyer or retail buying clerk or related experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepares master planning settings and purchase order allocations.
- Monitors and prepares price changes, including markups, markdowns, markup cancellations, markdown cancellations, and any promotional pricing.
- Processes new styles, new orders, reorders, and special orders.
- Assists Buyer with vendor set up and compliance paperwork, along with vendor file updates.
- Coordinates purchase order maintenance, including but not limited to, order confirmation, order modifications, and ticketing requests.
- Monitors open and back orders providing communication to appropriate business partners.
- Communicates with internal and external stakeholders on any inbound or outbound retail shipments.
- Monitors compliance with vendors and notifies supervisor of any concerns.
