About The Position

A Purchase Coordinator reviews and assists with purchase orders and facilitates timely payment from vendors and customers.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of procurement processes, purchasing principles, and inventory management.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
• Ability to perform all essential functions of the job description.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Purchase Clerk experience.
• Ability to learn purchasing procedures and policies
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in spreadsheets, accounting, and purchasing software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with data analysis tools.
• Capability to efficiently locate and access necessary information.

Responsibilities

• Perform various administrative and manual tasks, including updating spreadsheets and monitoring system statuses.
• Handle the processing of used car purchases for assigned dealerships.
• Verify that all DMV paperwork is complete and accurate before issuing equity checks to customers.
• Manage payoff transactions for vehicles with outstanding balances owed to lienholders.
• Process and issue equity checks to customers.
• Investigate and settle toll violation citations as needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Prepare and complete reports, memoranda, and other necessary documents.
• Address and resolve high-priority issues and challenges promptly.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure that purchases are recorded accurately and timely.
• Provide general administrative and clerical support as required.
• Maintain satisfactory attendance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
