We attribute our success to staying true to our core values of Service, Motivate, Respect, and Connect. As we continue to grow we are looking to add a Purchasing Assistant to the Scandi Family! This is a permanent full time in office position based out of our Edmonton Head office. Working hours Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm.

Requirements

1-2 years minimum administrative or purchasing experience.
Strong computer skills with the ability to use purchasing systems and related software applications.
Ability to prioritize in a fast paced environment with outstanding communication and organization skills.
Growing company so flexibility and adaptability required.

Nice To Haves

Post secondary education in Purchasing/ Supply chain management is preferred.

Responsibilities

Purchase all products and service requests, receive stock and non-stock items ensuring specifications, quality and inventory levels are correct.
Monitor and communicate deliveries of items between suppliers, transfers of equipment to different sites, and prepare stock orders.
Meet with vendors establishing strong working relationships and negotiating best pricing.
Assist with the shipping, receiving, organizing, storing and issuing of cleaning supplies, equipment and chemicals for timely deliveries.
Perform data entry and process purchase orders.
Process monthly shop sales, repair order, daily dol and invoices for the Accounting department in a timely manner and transfer to spreadsheet for tracking.
