About The Position
This is a Part-Time Seasonal Purchasing & Receiving Clerk position at Paradise Point Resort and Spa, a 44-acre waterfront resort in San Diego, California. The role supports the daily flow of products, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient resort operations and exceptional guest experiences. The clerk will work with vendors and internal departments to maintain accurate inventory control, timely purchasing, and efficient receiving. This is an opportunity for individuals seeking seasonal experience in hospitality purchasing, inventory, procurement, receiving, or supply chain management.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs and seasonal demand.
- Ability to lift, carry, move, and receive deliveries as required.
- Dependable, service-oriented, and committed to operational excellence.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in purchasing, receiving, inventory control, warehouse operations, hospitality, or supply chain management preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems, purchasing software, and Microsoft Office applications preferred.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Previous hotel or resort experience is a plus.
