About The Position

The Purchasing Analyst supports YES procurement and sourcing functions by analyzing purchasing data, supplier pricing, and market trends to enable informed sourcing and purchasing decisions. This role works with cross-functional internal teams and external business partners to support purchasing processes, sourcing initiatives, and supplier performance management, while ensuring alignment with YES standards, communication, and culture.

Requirements

• Understanding of procurement, purchasing, and sourcing principles
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret purchasing data, pricing trends, pricing benchmarks, and supplier performance metrics
• Ability to analyze data to support pricing reviews, contract terms, and sourcing initiatives
• Knowledge of supplier evaluation practices including pricing, quality, delivery, and service levels
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with all YES team members; Home Office and Field operations as well as all YES Third-Party partners and vendors
• Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency with the ability to use various Microsoft Suite and PDF Editors
• 1+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or a related analytical role
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Support procurement and sourcing functions at YES by analyzing purchasing data, trends, and supplier pricing
• Support purchases and purchasing processes
• Support RFPs, RFIs, and sourcing events
• Conduct market research and supplier landscape analysis
• Prepare cost, usage, and performance reports
• Review and evaluate vendor performance and service levels
• Communicate with suppliers to resolve shortages, delays, or quality issues
• Build positive and productive relationships with YES field operations and third-party business partners to resolve shortages, delays, or quality issues
• Maintains YES standards of communication and culture consistency with excellence
• Complete all other duties as assigned
