We are looking for a skilled Purchasing Administrator to join our team in Huntington Beach, CA. This is an on-site position based in Huntington Beach, CA. JOB SUMMARY The Purchasing Administrator is responsible for assisting the Purchasing Department with administrative work.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
Position may be filled with both entry level and experienced candidates.
Extended or irregular hours may be required.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

Send out RFQ for bids
Prepare data packages for RFQ
Send out Open Order Reports to Suppliers
Highlight any problem areas and reports to Procurement Team Leader
Generate effective communication, good relationships, and a positive image with suppliers and co-workers promoting courtesy, objectivity and fairness
Liaise with planners to control scheduling of parts to ensure stock levels meet demands while staying within stock level buffers
Review Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)/Withhold tags written against suppliers and relays such information to them with corrective action
Update suppliers with engineering changes and drawings
Complete projects and other Duties as assigned
