About The Position
The Pupil Supervisor works at Gabilan Elementary School during the 2026/2027 school year. Duties and schedule may vary according to the needs of the school site, and the employee must be available to work the complete Monday–Friday schedule. Hours are part-time, are not continuous, and are spread throughout the day; the schedule may fall between 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Work hours and days may change based on the approved MOU between CSEA and the District. The posting gives varying daily-hour figures (4.55, 4.88, and 5 hours per day). The position is an internal vacancy available only to current employees of the school district.
Requirements
- Graduation from high school or equivalent, with sufficient training and experience.
- Be available to work the complete Monday–Friday schedule.
- Read and write English at the level required for successful job performance.
- Understand and follow oral and written directions.
- Work cooperatively with others.
- Submit a letter of introduction, three letters of recommendation, proof of high school graduation (diploma/GED), a resume, and TB screening results.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to converse in English and Spanish.
- Experience working with children, or ability to learn.
Responsibilities
- Supervise pupils throughout the day, including before and after school as assigned.
- Perform morning and afternoon crosswalk duties if assigned.
