About The Position

The PUNCH TECHNICIAN is to maintain the physical integrity of the community.

Requirements

• Ability to take direction but work independently
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English at a fluent level in both written and verbal form with residents, co-workers, and vendors
• General knowledge of building codes and laws applicable to the community (i.e. Freon recovery, electrical, plumbing, swimming pools)
• Ability to work outdoors and/or without air conditioning for extended periods of time.
• A high school diploma or equivalent and professional knowledge of trades/maintenance discipline are required
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license (as applicable by the property)

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for market-ready status through turn-over repairs, and installations, and trash outs.
• Execute and sustain the daily upkeep/cleanliness of the property buildings, amenities, common areas, and grounds: including trash pickup.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on items such as ceiling fans, electrical outlets, light switches, dishwashers and garbage disposals, etc.
• Daily use of standard machinery, including but not limited to pressure washers, blowers, wet vacs, etc.
• Install larger appliances: refrigerators, washer/dryers, stoves, locks, etc.
• Unit prep including exterior/interior painting, caulking, minor drywall repair, minor plumbing, pressure washing, etc.
• Other duties may be periodically assigned by Manager or Maintenance Supervisor
